If you, or someone you know, suffers from Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome, also known as Irlen Syndrome, this program may be able to help you/them use a computer. It is a software-based Color Filter which puts a tint on your computer screen to make text more readable.
The filter is capable of being configured to use any color or opacity you wish to use. To the right is a sample of the configuration window. The left side of the text box has the filter enabled, while the right side is without the filter.
I should note that I am not a doctor, and I do not have Irlen Syndrome. I only believe that this filter works because it helped my wife, and from the e-mails I have received over time. Your milage may vary. If you have concerns, you should consult with your doctor before using this software. This software also has nothing to do with the Irlen Institute, is not reviewed by them, nor recommended or endorsed by them.
